5 things I learned this weekend.

1- The Oak Hall girl’s team is really good and should be the favorites on November 9th as they look to defend their team title from last year. But Wait! Holy Trinity is really good and coached by the most winningest high school coach in Florida history. But Wait! Providence looks really good and will be looking to reclaim the title they lost to Oak Hall last November.  The race for the 1A girls team title might be the one “MUST WATCH” this November.

2 – The Chiles guys mean business this season. For the past few years’ 3A has been the Belen Jesuit show. With a 1:02 spread from 1-7 the guys from Tallahassee could be serious contenders for a 3A title this year. If the Timberwolves can stay healthy all season, look for them to mix things up this November  as they will be chasing a team title in their own back yard.

3 - The future looks bright for the freshmen guys of the Space Coast. At the Wickham Park Jamboree there were 4 frosh that managed to go sub 17 while mixing it up with the big boys. Luckily for Holy Trinity, 3 of them were wearing Tiger’s Uniforms.

Trevor Kattenberg – 16:39
Mason Jones – 16:48
Egan Kattenberg – 16:56
Michael Wilson – 16:57

4 – The girls from Nease are way under ranked.  Lead by Karen Xiang and Alyssa Rodale, the lady Panthers not only look to qualify for state out of the Region of Death but also could be a top 5 threat!

5 – DistancePreps.com has one of the most versatile coverage teams in the country. We write articles, take pictures, do interviews, edit movies, and all work other jobs. Make sure to like DistancePreps.com on Facebook and follow us on twitter via @distancepreps
